Yachting Magazine requested this album, and it was made primarily for them. MG Productions of Boston were in charge. It was not sold in stores, but was a promotion for the magazine. Recorded after the last of his RCA Victor LPs, "Music For Yachtsmen" provides an interesting compilation of sea shanties and other related music-- a varied assortment that's sure to yield some favorites.  VM=Vaughn Monroe,  BJ=Betty Johnson
