This CD is a highly recommended addition to your collection. Besides the great musical selections, Vaughn's short, morale-boosting messages to the troops are included on the recordings.

I have not seen "On the Road To Mandaley" and ""I've Got you Under My Skin"  on other commercial recordings. This disc also includes "In Times Like These", which Vaughn sang on film in the movie Meet the People.

The cover insert provides a concise history of the V Disc program during WWII. A brief biography of Vaughn Monroe is included on the back.
