just finished listening to the Vaughn Monroe...and the Band Swings
CD. It was great! Vaughn's band could truly swing as documented by the 18
selections on the CD. John Tumpak This CD showcases the instrumental side of the Vaughn Monroe Orchestra with recordings made for Lang-Worth Transcriptions in the 1940s. Most were previously released on the Blue Heaven, Ajazz and Swing Era LPs (Various Re-issue LPs and EPs) and the Circle CDs (Domestic CDs). |
